Here is the first of many theme songs I plan on posting on this site. This one is the theme to the Spider-Man: the Animated Series from 1994.
The theme song was written by Aeorsmith guitarist Joe Perry. When composing this piece, Perry wanted a modern feel that paid tribute to the classic ‘67 series. You can sort of hear this come out in the main guitar melody. The words also pay tribute to the ‘67 theme song.
Perry also performs the guitar riffs and the ripping guitar solo. He speaks the lyrics through a vocoder to give them that digitally distorted sound.
I pulled this theme off a real cheaply produced Spider-Man DVD so the quality is even worse than you would normally find on YouTube. Hopefully I can post a better one at a later date.
Also, I’m pretty sure that this is the Season Three version of the theme song.

Very nice post! What I like most about is the fact that you dont try to force your opinion on anyone. You just kind of lay the information out there and let people make their own decision… Keep it up yo!
